A former missionary to Australia, evangelist, and college professor, Don J. Hanson is currently pastor of Faith Community Church in Santa Ana, CA. His BA and MA are from Wheaton College, Ill., with M.Div. studies at Talbot Theological Seminary, CA. He earned his Ph.D. from California Graduate School of Theology. He has taught on the college level Koine Greek, New Testament, End Time Prophecy, and Scriptural Marriage Relationships, for Fletcher Hills Bible College, CA, Southwest Institute of Christian Learning (Bethel Seminary, CA), Harvest Bible University (LA, CA), and Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa's Bible School. He has also had over 20 years' experience as a local church pastor, plus ministries in leading worship and choirs, street preaching, fair and tent evangelism, revivals, radio evangelism, working with Billy Graham crusades and "Scriptural Marriage Seminars" on TV and throughout Southern California. He has also had several articles published. Dr. Hanson loves preaching expository messages from the Bible. In addition, he has had over 30 years' experience as a Senior Systems Analyst Pacific Life Insurance Company, plus 5 years as an IRS officer. He also loves to play the trumpet, brag about his grandchildren, and coax his tomatoes to flourish. |
